Coaching for scaleup founders stuck in founder-led growth
Mika Tikkala works with scaleup founders running €1M–€10M companies who are stuck in founder mode. Every decision still routes through them. The Runway Method gets you out of founder dependency and into the owner role without burning out. Founding Member cohort, application-only.
What this is
- A founder operating system. What to own, what to hand off, what to kill
- Behavioral and biological read. So the decisions you keep are the ones only you can make
- Roughly 6 months to install the system, then a re-test cadence over the following year
Who it is for
Scaleup founders running €1M–€10M companies with 5–50 employees. The business is winning, the operator is stuck. Founder-led growth has hit its ceiling.
How this compares to what you've already tried
Most founders in this position have already been through something. A Huberman protocol, a Tony Robbins weekend, Dan Martell's time-blocking framework, maybe therapy, maybe an Oura ring sitting on the nightstand. None of them stuck the way they were supposed to.
- Peter Attia / Outlive: the biology-first framework is correct. Built for a wealthy American with full access to his medical practice. Not for a Nordic founder running a €3M company at full operational speed.
- Andrew Huberman protocols: the science is solid. Huberman tells you what to do; he can't tell you why you're not doing it. The implementation gap is a biology problem, not a discipline problem.
- Dan Martell / Buy Back Your Time: right for the business layer. Assumes the founder's energy is fine and the problem is operational. The energy problem is upstream of the calendar problem.
- Tony Robbins / transformation events: the room energy is real. Two weeks later, nothing in the biology changed. Motivation requires the biological substrate to sustain it.
- Therapy: the right tool for trauma processing and long-term psychological work. Too slow for a founder in an active growth phase. The problem is biological in the first instance. Fix that first.
- Wim Hof / cold exposure: a useful nervous-system reset. An experience, not a programme. No before/after data, no HRV tracking, no decision framework.
What's missing from all of them is the combination: enough biological knowledge to read your data, enough business context to understand what you're actually dealing with, and enough Nordic directness to tell you what's wrong without selling you a supplement stack.
